Map

Make sure you have installed and activated the plugin Visual Composer. Map can be inserted in any page or post, to create a map follow the steps below. Do not forget to insert the API key at Theme Options > Google Maps, if you don’t know how to get an API key, follow this link.

  1. Switch the editor from classic mode to backend editor.
  2. Press add element or the plus symbol.
  3. Search for the element Map or go to NeuronElements category to find it easier.

Map

  • Map Height – Change the height of map, default is 450px.
  • Map Full Height – If this option is selected the map will be set in 100% of the height.
  • Map Zoom – The initial resolution at which to display the map is set by the zoom property, where zoom 0 corresponds to a map of the Earth fully zoomed out, and larger zoom levels zoom in at a higher resolution. Specify zoom level as an integer.
  • Map Scroll Zoom – If true, enables scrollwheel zooming on the map.
  • Map Style – Select the map style, if custom is selected a custom textarea will be displayed, if you don’t know how to create a style, follow this link.

  • Map Controls
    • Type – This option enables/disables the Map Type control that lets the user toggle between map types (such as Map and Satellite). By default, this control is visible and appears in the top left corner of the map.
    • Zoom – Change the perspective of zoom.
    • Fullscreen – Offers the option to open the map in fullscreen mode. Note: iOS doesn’t support the fullscreen feature. The fullscreen control is therefore not visible on iOS devices.
    • Street View – Enables/disables the Pegman control that lets the user activate a Street View panorama.
    • Draggable – Allows you to move in map via mouse dragging.

Map Marker

After adding the map holder you can continue adding the map markers by clicking the plus symbol inside the map element. To get the map coordinates go to this link.

  • Map Latitude – Enter the map latitude coordinates.
  • Map Longitude – Enter the map longitude coordinates.
  • Marker Image – Upload a custom marker or use the default one from the theme.
  • Marker Title – Enter the title that will show up after you click on the marker.
  • Marker Description – Enter the description that will show up after you click on the marker.

Extra Class

You can add extra classes to this element, if you want to add more than one, separate them with spaces.

Design Options

Change the design of this element, different style can be set only for this element.
